TV and USL live for 2011

USL has announced that more than 100 games will be aired on this year.

Ten teams will air their home games, representing all three USL divisions.  Those teams are the Charleston Battery, Antigua Barracuda FC, the Dayton Dutch Lions, the Harrisburg City Islanders, the LA Blues, Orlando City, Puerto Rico United, River Plate Puerto Rico, the Rochester Rhinos and the Wilmington Hammerheads.  As we have seen in the past, the production quality of each teams broadcast may vary and I expect there to be some issues with the various broadcasts.

Regardless it will give fans a chance to watch away games and see some matches against teams they may not see much off.

The release also mentions that the final touches of a television contract are nearly finished.  Unofficially, we are hearing between 10 and 15 matches will be aired on Fox Soccer Channel this season.

USLlive is entering its fifth year and will once again be free and will have full-length matches archived.
